For this assignment, students will be broken into groups to run a collaborative theme-based blog hosted by WordPress.com. The goal of the assignment will be for you to begin to share your thoughts on how a particular Web 2.0-related issue is evolving as a result of the proliferation of Web 2.0 technologies and writing spaces.
How have digital writing technologies (brought to you by Web 2.0) impacted what it means to write and be a writer?
Through your writings you will begin the process of creating a professional online identity and work toward the final assignment, in which the ideas composed in your blog posts will play a role.

Week 2: Compose two posts and two comments. The first post should connect your digital writing theme with the Bush reading from the Web 2.0 readings part 1; the second post should connect your theme with another reading you have discovered and researched outside the course readings.
Week 3: Compose two posts and two comments. The first post should connect your digital writing theme with any of the Web 2.0 readings part 3; the second blog post will be your "Facebook" blog post, where you connect your digital writing theme to your experience with the experiment and one or more texts (from assigned readings or from readings you have discovered online).
Week 4: One blog post (connecting your digital writing theme with a selected reading from Web 2.0 readings part 4) and one comment due
